iRead Mobile Library
iRead Mobile Library is the first mobile library in Nigeria, a project sponsored by the YouWIN initiative of The Federal Government of Nigeria under the governance of President Goodluck Jonathan.
The Project Brief
iRead mobile library is a unique project, being the first of its kind in Nigeria some of the project concept was not clear at the initial phase, one thing that the founder keeps saying “we want something colourful”.
As a team our focus is always about building relationships and after some deliberation on the concept note we started the project.
Our Solution
The goal for the iRead Mobile Library project was for us to provide a unique website that is very colourful, knowing fully well that the organizations goal is to encourage children to read more and make the process of learning fun.
We were able able to deliver an attractive system with great user interface.
Some of the other features we deployed are:
- Very colourful and attractive website.
- Super easy navigation system to ensure users get what they want fast.
- Secured Member only online library system in partnership with Tumblebooks.
- Easy membership payment and renewal system.
- Distraction free online library when reading.
- Introduction of online volunteers application form.
- Introduction of online donation form for the public to support the project either via a one time donation or automated donation.
- and some other internal data management modules for core systems.
